The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the process within the Catholic Church intended for those adults who wish to become Catholics and begin preparation for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). It is surely one of the most life-giving ministries in the Church today.
Participants enter into an extended period of formation in the Gospel that can last for many months and, in some cases, years, depending on each person's unique faith journey. The community ritually celebrates various moments in the conversion of those who are participating in this process.
The celebration of the Sacraments occurs once a year at the Easter Vigil Mass in the presence of the community. Those interested can start the process at any time and are encouraged to contact the Collaborative to begin this incredible journey.

Adult Catholics interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation are invited to begin a process of discernment and preparation that will culminate with the celebration of Confirmation, normally during the Easter season.

Sometimes, for whatever reason, children are not baptized as infants. We welcome with great joy families for whom this is true, and we look forward to preparing with you for these wonderful celebrations.
For those older children, typically over the age of 7, who have not yet been baptized, please contact Kristina Preman (at Our Lady's or Sacred Heart).
