Mabuhay! I am Leslee J. Ambrosio from Makati City, Philippines. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of the Philippines. Then, I earned my Master of Arts in Religious Education at Ateneo de Manila University. As an educator of 16 years, I taught English and Christian Life Education (Theology) to Grade School and Junior High School. My active service at Mary Mirror of Justice Parish since the age of 15 (where I held multiple ministerial positions for 22 years) and my participation as a delegate of the Archdiocese of Manila in the World Youth Days in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2013 and Krakow, Poland, in 2016 inspired me to grow further in faith and to widen my knowledge and perspective of the Catholic community. In 2023, I moved to Boston to pursue a Master of Arts in Theology at the Boston College Clough School of Theology and Ministry. I finished my program in June 2024. To unwind, I love to travel and explore different places with my family and friends. The beaches in summer, the mountains, and the fall foliage amaze me. To keep me fit, I practice yoga, do spin, and walk along the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. In my free time, I cook Filipino food and tuna pasta and binge watch series in Netflix. Likewise, I hang out with friends over a cup of hot chocolate/tea, a meal, or a movie for life updates. Lastly, my new role as the Coordinator of Religious Education for Grades 6-10 for the collaborative excites me the most. I eagerly await to accompany the young people and to have fun while learning and sharing about the Catholic faith.
