      Sacred Heart Adult Choir

The Sacred Heart Adult Choir serves at the 9:30 am Mass, offering sacred music from many traditional and contemporary styles, such as folk, jazz, spirituals, motets, and chant. As Sacred Heart’s primary choir with approximately 25-30 members, the choir incorporates the music of different cultures with varied instrumentation, including guitar, trumpet, violin, piano, and organ.

Rehearsals are Thursday evenings, 7:00-8:30 pm, during the school year. Rehearsals begin in September.

      Sacred Heart Children’s Choir

The Sacred Heart Children’s Choir serves at the 9:30 am Mass, once or twice each month during the school year. It is a terrific way to engage children in the liturgy, to capture not only their interest but also their understanding of the Mass. Singing both classic and contemporary songs, this energetic choir is open to all children in Grades 1 and up. Participation in Sacred Heart’s Religious Education program is encouraged, but not required.

Rehearsals are Sundays, 10:30-11:00 am in the MacKenzie Center (during Coffee Hour).

Please contact Erica Johnson with any questions.

      The Our Lady's Adult Choir

The Our Lady's Adult Choir is a vibrant group comprised of about 30 professional and non-professional musicians who share in their love for music and worship. In addition to providing music at Sunday Masses and special celebrations within the parish, we are strengthened by the friendship and camaraderie that grows through participation in this large ministry. Our growing repertoire consists of Latin motets, traditional, contemporary, and classical music sung in collaboration with piano, organ, strings, and other musical instruments. The choir is scheduled for at least two 10:00 am Sunday Masses each month between September and May. An event calendar of specific liturgies and rehearsals will be made available upon request. All are welcome!

Rehearsals are held in the church/music room from 3:30-4PM on Mondays before RE classes and they sing at ten masses during the Academic year including Christmas Eve/Easter.

An event calendar of specific liturgies and rehearsals will be made available upon request.
