Valentine Fundraiser for Prison Ministries

Both Bethany Ministries and the Sisters of St. Joseph Prison Aftercare Program are in need of gift cards to help volunteers help women newly released from prison, and to help provide for families of those still incarcerated.

Whatever denomination you can afford to either Dunkin’, Walgreen’s, CVS, Target or Market Basket are gratefully accepted. Just please make sure the amount of your gift card is legible somewhere! Donations can be left in the Our Ladys after-hours dropbox outside the staff entrance at the end of the alley or mailed to the office (attn: Christian Service Committee 573 Washington st. Newton 02458), to be received no later than Saturday Feb. 20th.  Happy St. Valentine’s Day, and Happy Lent!  Good way to remember one, and start the other!
