Linda Jenkins, a retired lawyer and professional mediator, is a volunteer organizer for
Massachusetts Interfaith Worker Justice (MIWJ). She helped to create the Social and Racial Justice Ministry at Boston’s St. Cecilia parish. Her work is informed by both Quaker and Catholic perspectives. She also serves on Boston Diocese Social Justice Committee.
Doris Landaverde, a leader in the local struggle for immigrant rights, is shop steward of Local 32BJ of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
They will outline the most critical challenges facing workers today and highlight the ways MIWJ addresses these challenges.
