Mother Caroline Academy School Supply Drive

Mother Caroline Academy (MCA) is a tuition-free independent school for girls in grades 3-8, serving traditionally under-resourced Boston neighborhoods. For 30 years they have moved families out of poverty through education. Thanks to donations from Sacred Heart and Our Lady's, they successfully completed their first year of teaching the ukulele to their middle school students. They now would like to expand the program, offering the recorder as an instrument to the younger students in grades 3 and 4. The recorder is an affordable, easy-to-learn instrument that will be a good introduction for our younger students.   

GREAT NEWS!  The Christ Child Society from Sacred Heart has purchased all  50 recorders needed!!

The school still needs two ukulele tuners (T2 Smart Automatic Guitar & Ukulele Tuner): priced at $79 each and available online HERE. Online purchases should have delivery to Mother Caroline Academy, 515 Blue Hill Ave., Dorchester, MA 02121. 
 
We continue to need school supplies for our students which are provided at no cost to families. Gifts cards for Amazon or Staples, at any level, are greatly appreciated.
