Coping with Grief in the Holidays: A Day of Recollection Saturday, November 5th, 2 pm - 5 pm Join us for an afternoon of grief support. The death of a loved one is unlike any other. The holidays can be a particularly painful time when we are missing someone we love. Whether the death was sudden and tragic, or one with warning and preparation, the reality of death leaves most of us shocked, confused and sad. These feelings may last for years. Grieving people need time and space to honor their grief. Your loss may be recent, or it may have been years ago. Our Collaborative has developed a program to help you start the healing process. This event will take place in the Lower Church of Our Lady’s.
At 4 pm, we will join the parish’s semi-annual Bereavement Mass. At this parish Mass, our loved ones, along with those in the parish who have died in the past 6 months, will be remembered.
Advanced registration is required for participation. For more information or to participate please contact Kate no later than Friday, October 21, at 617-527-7560 x219 or email Kate.
